Great Egret
A Bald Eagle was stretching its wings.
It stood there just looking around.
A Great Blue Heron stood very still. One might think it is doing nothing, until it suddenly jerks its head down into the water, and then, with a splash, it comes up with a fish.
Canada Geese were making a lot of noise.
This little American Coot lazily drifted along.
A Pied Billed Grebe spent most of its time diving and swimming underwater. I had to be fast to catch it with its head up out of the water. An elusive little creature.
Such a cute little fox and a pleasant surprise to see it.

And really in no hurry to leave us.
Soon it was time to head back to the hotel and get ready for dinner.
